All our activities are weather-dependent; however, in the case of light showers or short periods of rain, most activities—especially those carried out on the river, such as kayaking or rafting—can still be safely performed. Our team monitors weather and river conditions daily. If the water level rises significantly, we will inform you at least one hour before the scheduled start time of the activity (in most cases, already the day before. In such cases, we will offer you a new date and/or time for the activity, or allow you to cancel your reservation with a full refund. If you have the option to reschedule, you can always choose to cancel instead.
If conditions change drastically during the activity to the extent that it can no longer be carried out safely or in a way that ensures a quality experience, the guide will interrupt the activity. In this case, we will again offer a new date and/or time or a cancellation with a full refund.
If you have any questions regarding weather or other conditions that could affect your activity, our team is available during our office hours and also one hour before and after opening time, via email or phone.
You can also check the weather forecast yourself at: ILMETEO (please note that the website is only available in Italian). We do not recommend using apps such as Apple Weather or Google Weather. Please understand that due to the unique combination of sea and alpine influences, which makes the Soča Valley one of a kind globally, weather conditions here are particularly difficult to predict and can change from hour to hour. For this reason, we strongly recommend consulting our team about any potential weather-related risks concerning your activity.
