Before booking

Before choosing an activity, consider your physical abilities, time constraints, and the capabilities of the least physically fit member of your group. Each activity description on our website includes detailed information about the course and duration of the activity, as well as any physical limitations such as required fitness level, prior experience, and, for children, age and height requirements.

Bookings for activities can be made on our website, in our office, by e-mail or by phone.

After booking

Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. Prior to receiving this message, your reservation has not been confirmed. If you do not receive a confirmation message within 12 hours of booking, please contact us.

You can easily change your reservation up to 72 hours before the scheduled start of the (first) activity you have booked. We do not guarantee that a change of reservation will be possible less than 72 hours before the scheduled start of the activity, but we will always do our best to help you find the optimal solution. For any change of reservation, please contact us.

Activity information

At Azimut Center we offer a wide range of summer and winter outdoor activities. Among our most popular options are canyoning, rafting, kayaking, tour skiing, and cycling. Azimut Center was founded as a specialized agency for canyoning, making it our most sought-after activity with a comprehensive selection of canyoning trips available. On the page of each activity, you can find all the information about the personal items you need to bring with you for the activity. Please note that for activities marked as water activities, you must bring your swimsuit, towel, and a set of dry clothes.

In the description of each activity, you can find detailed information about the course of the activity, including the duration.

For a trip to certain advanced level canyons, we will ask you to provide some information about your previous canyoning knowledge, such as which canyons you have already visited, proof of completed canyoning school, etc.

All our activities have an age limit and minimum required height for children. You can find this information in the description of each activity on our website.

The maximum number of guests in a group depends on each activity. In general, this ranges from 6 to 8 clients per group, or a maximum of 8 per guide. For organized groups, we also conduct activities with groups larger than 8 guests and consequently with several guides. Information on the maximum number of guests per group can be found in the description of the activity on our website. These restrictions are strictly implemented for safety reasons, as ensuring safety is our top priority.

If you have your own equipment that is suitable for use in the activity you booked, you can bring it with you to the meeting point (our office) before the scheduled start of the activity. The guide will assess whether your equipment is suitable and safe for use in this activity.

Transportation from our office to the place of activity and back is always included in the price, unless stated otherwise in the description of the activity. Should you prefer to use your own vehicle to reach the activity venue, this option is typically available - kindly inform us in advance, if possible.

There are several parking lots nearby. Parking is free everyday at the Pri Brajdi car park. Additionally, on weekends, the municipal car park is also free of charge. You can find this information, along with QR codes to access the parking locations, on your activity ticket.

At Azimut Center, we offer pick-up services for guests staying at their accommodations that are also our partners. While we do not currently have a list of partners available online, we recommend contacting us for pick-up options.

If you are sick or injured in any way, we advise you not to participate in the activity. In the event of an injury or illness that would prevent or severely limit your normal physical activity or reasonable behavior, you may not participate in the activity under any circumstances.

If you need to cancel your reservation due to the aforementioned reasons, we consider it an objective reason for cancellation. Therefore, you are subject to the special cancellation policy, which you can find on our Cancellation and Refund page, under the paragraph titled "Cancellation by the customer."

If you are pregnant, you can not participate in the activity under any circumstances. Please understand that this is for your safety and the safety of your child.

Customer safety

All our activities are conducted with the highest safety standards in mind. Our guides are professionally trained, holding mandatory and optional licenses. The equipment used by our guests is carefully selected from a wide range available on the market and meets strict safety criteria. Regular maintenance and replacement ensure its reliability. The owner and cofounder of our agency holds qualifications, including instructor positions with the Slovenian Canyoning Association, the Wild Water Rescuer Course - Program C, and the world-renowned and once internationally recognized CIC (Commission International de Canyon) association. Despite our high safety protocols and standards, please be aware that all our activities involve inherent risks, and accidents can happen unexpectedly. By participating in our activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks However, rest assured, we are committed to ensuring your safety to the best of our ability at any moment of your trip.

Yes, our guides are highly qualified and possess both compulsory and optional licenses. For instance, depending on the activity they are guiding, they may hold certifications such as Canyoning Guide 1 or Assistant Canyoning Guide, Canyoning Guide 2 (both accredited by the Canyoning Association of Slovenia), Wild Water Rescuer - Program C (regulated by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia), Mountain Bike Guide (accredited by the Cycling Association of Slovenia), and Mountain Guide (certified by the Mountain Guide Association of Slovenia), among others.

High-quality equipment is of paramount importance for ensuring safety during outdoor sports activities. Hence, we provide our guests with gear selected from a wide range available on the market, meeting strict safety criteria. Regular maintenance and replacement ensure its reliability.

Payment

You can pay online using a CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD (via Stripe), PAYPAL, or a GIFT CARD.

In the office, payments can only be made in cash. Online reservations cannot be settled at the office and must be paid using one of the online payment methods. Payments at the office are only accepted for reservations made via phone or email.

There could be several reasons why your payment was declined. Your card might not be compatible with our payment system, or it might have insufficient funds.

Here's what you can do:

1. Double-check the information entered: Ensure that all payment details such as card number, expiry date, CVV code, and billing address are entered correctly.

2. Try an alternative payment method: If your card continues to be declined, consider using a different card or payment method such as PayPal or a different credit/debit card.

3. If you're unable to proceed with an online payment, we offer the option to pay by bank transfer. For assistance with payment, please don't hesitate to contact us.

If you have been charged the wrong amount, please contact us and provide your order or reservation number. We will promptly work to resolve this issue and refund any overcharged amount.

If the activity is canceled by Azimut Center due to objective reasons or insufficient participant numbers, you will receive a full refund.

For guest-initiated cancellations, different refund conditions apply. It's advisable to cancel as early as possible, preferably at least 3 days before the planned activity.

All of our payment methods are highly secure. We utilize trusted payment system providers such as STRIPE and PAYPAL, renowned and utilized worldwide, ensuring a high level of user protection and security.

After adding the desired activities or items to your shopping cart, click on 'Check out' (located on the shopping cart page). This will redirect you to the checkout, where you'll first enter your details and then select your preferred payment method. Your payment is successful when the system displays a message confirming the order.

Once your order is confirmed, you'll also receive a confirmation notification via email.

Extras

If you haven't received the photos after the activity and would like to have them emailed to you, please contact us. Let us know the exact date and time of the activity, as well as which activity you attended. To expedite the process, it's helpful to attach photos of your face or the faces of everyone in your group or family. This way, we can easily identify your images and send them to you promptly.
