This authentic caving tour combines easy climbing with navigating through some narrow passages and holes. The activity begins with an easy 20-minute walk from the parking lot in the village of Plužna, leading us to the cave entrance. There, you will be equipped with all the necessary caving gear, and the real adventure begins! As a thrilling finale, prepare for a 60-meter rope descent, providing an adrenaline rush while you enjoy breathtaking views of the Bovec Basin. EQUIPMENT
Equipment is of paramount importance when it comes to sports activities such as caving. It provides comfort and safety to the user, which is why at Azimut Center, we only use the best equipment available on the market. For caving with us, you only need your hiking shoes and warm sportswear. We'll take care of everything else. You will receive 4 pieces of equipment - a helmet, a caving suit, a caving harness and a caving headlamp. If you have your own caving equipment, you can bring it with you to the meeting point (our office) before the scheduled start of the activity. The guide will assess whether your equipment is suitable and safe for use in this activity.
Don't worry, it's quite simple! You arrive at our office in Tolmin, where you meet your guide, sign a waiver form, and collect your caving equipment. Then we will take you to the starting point in the village of Plužna, where your adventure begins! Backpacks, mobile devices, and other personal items (except passports and larger amounts of money, which you can leave in the office) stay in the van. At the end of the activity, you return to the starting point, and we drive you back to our office.
