Set off on the most popular activity in the Soča Valley and navigate the emerald rapids. This rafting trip takes you through the wildest and most picturesque part of the Soča River, where you'll paddle amidst breathtaking views of the majestic Julian Alps. With stops for jumping into the water and sliding down the raft turned into a water slide, we guarantee plenty of fun. An experienced guide will accompany you throughout the entire trip, directing and ensuring your safety. Whether you have tried this activity elsewhere or are a complete beginner, rafting on the Soča is an experience that will completely enchant you.

EQUIPMENT

Equipment is of paramount importance when it comes to sports activities such as rafting. It provides comfort and safety to the user, which is why at Azimut Center, we only use the best equipment available on the market. For rafting with us, you only need your swimwear, towel, dry clothes, and sunscreen. We'll take care of everything else. You will receive 6 pieces of equipment: a helmet, 3 mm neoprene long-john wetsuit, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), anorak, neoprene shoes, and a paddle. If you have your own rafting equipment, you can bring it with you to the meeting point (our office) before the scheduled start of the activity. The guide will assess whether your equipment is suitable and safe for use in this activity.

LICENSED GUIDES

Rafting is a beautiful sport, as long as it is safe. That's why safety is always our top priority, with fun right behind it. But to truly enjoy the beauty of rafting on the Soča River, you need a guide who ensures your safety first and foremost, while also ensuring you have fun every moment of it. All of Azimut Center’s rafting guides are professionally trained and licensed as Wildwater Rescuers.

Don't worry, it's quite simple! You arrive at our office in Tolmin, where you meet your guide, sign a waiver form, and collect your rafting equipment. Then we will take you to the starting point in the village of Srpenica, where your adventure begins! Towels, dry clothes, and other personal items (except passports and larger amounts of money - you can leave them in the office) stay in the van. Everything will await you on the parking spot at the end of the trip in Trnovo ob Soči. There, you change into dry clothes, and we drive you back to our office.
